Dani – Utah Fashion Photographer

Dani came all the way from Springville, UT to shoot and I’m so glad she choose me.  She’s a sweet girl with a love of fashion, clothes, hair, makeup … you get the point.  We decided to make this an outdoor night shoot and we both wanted an industrial look.  I knew the perfect spot.  I’ve been wanting to use this area for a long while now.

We get there, and a steel mill is having a shift change.  We had an audience for a little bit, but we were too busy to notice them.  We warmed up under an overpass, which at first was a bit challenging to get lite well enough because of the sun disappearing.  Simple answer … point a strobe at the ceiling.

After we went to a loading dock, then on the side of the steel mill.  While we were shooting one of the workers stuck their head out the window and said … if we wanted we could come in and take pictures in there.  Without hesitation we ran in!  Just a few minutes before I was saying how cool it would be if we could get in there.

Our set in there ended after the foreman came out and told use we couldn’t shoot their because of their safety standards.  We called it a night as we were happy with what we got.

Dani’s going to use some of the images to help her in her modeling career, and is meeting with some Ford Modeling representatives this week.  Good luck Dani!
