Dr. Duke has a beautiful dental practice in downtown SLC. While trying to get the word out about our Family Portrait Month Fundraiser for kids with Cleff Pallets/Lips through Operationsmile, Dr. Duke was more than willing to support this great cause.
To say thanks to him for helping out, we gave him three free portrait sessions. He was quick to ask for his first session to update his staff photo’s for his website. Upon arriving I was shown a room that he has set up in the back of his practice with photo gear. He’s an amateur photographer! We had a good discussion on how to best use his lights, and how to set his camera, then we got down to the staff shots.
One of his staff is his daughter, so she helped was volunteered to help test my lights out. First one out was great! She was pretty happy. Dr. Duke has a great front room and I wanted to take advantage of this. I kept it simple with a one light setup with reflector [psudo clam-shell]. I dragged my shutter out to 40sec to get in some of his great lighting he had in the office. Great shoot IMO! Thanks for the help Dr. Duke.
