Utah Family Portrait Photography :: First Family of 2010 :: The Richardsons ::

The Richardsons have been long standing supporters of our Studio.  This will be the second time I’ve shot their entire family.  I have also shot their daughters newborn, and donated my time at the Field of Dreams for them.  Their son with his family was in from China, home for the holidays and they wanted to get a family shoot before they head back.

We settled on the Salt Lake Public Library.  Then sun was getting low and we started to set up for the first shot.  Babies got fussy so we had to abandon doing the group shot first and started on smaller families.  We were on the second level on the south side of the building.  The light was beautiful.  I staged up a scene and started moving through the families.

There was a lot of time for play and candid’s, which are some of my favorite things.  Emily had saw on my blog of a family I set up in the stacks and wanted a similar things for herself we ran into the stacks and set it up!
